Procedure that is performed to increase the volume of the breasts, which can be lost by many causes such as pregnancy, decreased weight, age.

The prostheses are filled with cohesive silicone gel and are placed beneath the pectoral muscle injury by periaveolar. Drains are left to be withdrawn for 24 hours and the stitches are removed in seven (7) days.

Hospitalization not required, it's ambulatory. 

Type of anesthesia: general.

Duration: one (1) hour.

Resting:

• Work: five (5) days.
• Exercise: three (3) weeks.
